Here’s a trio of the hottest things you can do on the last day of June.*
The 1st Annual Red Party
Where: Cabana Pool Bar, 11 Polson St.
When: Noon
We already told you what you can expect from the swank club/bar/pool/daytime drinking hole. Today, however, it won’t cost you a thing to bypass the security. As long as you wear red, you’ll receive free admission all day long. Bottle service is still all you though.
Canada Day Extravaganza at Harbourfront
Where: Harbourfront Centre, 235 Queens Quay W.
When: 10:40pm
Everyone loves fireworks. So much so that the Harbourfront Centre is lighting them up a day early. This ‘Canada Eve’ celebration will include two barges worth of fireworks filling the air for a full 20-minute session. With tomorrow off, this seems like a great way to get your Monday night started.
Fireworks Dinner Cruise
Where: On a boat
When: 7:00pm
Remember what we just said about fireworks? Exactly. But instead of being stuck on land (probably in a crowd), you could catch the show seaside instead. It’s not just about the fireworks, though; you’ll also enjoy a light hors d’oeuvres menu, cocktails, and a live DJ. This is fireworks 2.0.
*Of course, no one would blame you for staying in to get ready for the storm.
