Is there a better way to kick off Grand Prix 2014 than with a panoramic view from the top?
The F1 extravaganza raced off to a breathtaking start with the exclusive launch of our collaboration with Auberge du Vieux Port‘s spectacular rooftop terrace, Terrace Sur L’Auberge, on Wednesday, June 4th. The beautifully brisk evening brought out over 200 stylish ladies and gents who were greeted with a glass of bubbly and delicious appies. And there wasn’t a shortage of things to toast; a new hidden gem, the Grand Prix, and, of course, the mesmerizing panoramic views of the St. Lawrence and the Old Port in all its sumptuous summer glory.
Listed among Travel + Leisure’s 500 World’s Best Hotels in 2014, The Auberge du Vieux-Port was an ideal place to inaugurate Grand Prix festivities. As they mixed and mingled on sleek, low-slung leather sofas, guests were treated to the beats of DJ Elleven as well as a selection of savoury canapés, including salmon tartar, mini pulled pork sliders, and the crowd favourite Vallarta shrimp topped with lime, coriander and guacamole.
“We’re excited to get the terrace season rolling. The opening was a great success and set the stage for the summer to come,” said Maria Antonopoulos, Director of Marketing and Communications for Groupe Antonopoulos, which counts Auberge Du Vieux-Port in their portfolio of swank Montreal boutique hotels and restaurants.
