Jennifer Williams:

Elevator Pitch: Describe your job in a nutshell.
I provide a unique and sensual experience while creating coveted and evocative imagery for women.

Why did you start working at your company? What was the inspiration for this career route?
I started photography as a hobby four years ago and I never expected it to turn into the business I have today. I have always played around with a camera, especially as a child when I would take photos of my barbies. I guess what I do now isn’t much different!

What is the best part of what you do on a day-to-day basis? The most challenging part?
The best part is empowering women and giving them the permission to feel good and to love themselves. The most challenging part is definitely having to log 12-14 hour days in front of the computer with editing, design, marketing, etc.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Considering where I was five years ago, I have no idea! I take advantage of opportunities that come my way and will continue to pursue whatever makes me feel fulfilled and excited to go to work every day. I definitely know that photography will be part of my life forever.

What does success look like to you?
The ability to do what I love, stay inspired and explore my creativity while maintaining a fulfilling personal life and marriage.

What is the most memorable milestone in your career?
I feel like the best is yet to come!

Do you have any advice for other young professionals?
Hard work and genuine kindness will get you everywhere.

Do you support any charities? If so, which one(s) and why is that important to you?
Not currently, however we are definitely looking to support an organization that fits in the near future!

What is Notable to you?
Celebrating every success, big or small. Taking time to acknowledge how far you’ve come helps you push forward with bigger goals.

Blackberry, iPhone, Android, or Other?
iPhone. My studio and home are full of Apple products.

Kelly Trerise:

Elevator Pitch: Describe your job in a nutshell.
As a makeup artist I use light, shadow, symmetry and colour to make fabulous women look and feel spectacular!

Why did you start working at your company? What was the inspiration for this career route?
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to “create” for a living, and once I found out about the art of applying makeup I was hooked. My career requires exact precision, advanced understanding of colour theory and light & shadow, great people skills, AND it allows me to use my creativity every single day. Because of all of those things I think it’s the best job on earth!

What is the best part of what you do on a day-to-day basis? The most challenging part?
The best part of what I do is helping to transform women so they feel sexy, beautiful, and empowered. I guess the most challenging part of my job would be keeping up with the trends and making sure my dexterity is always 100% on point.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I’d love to see my business grow with the same types of influential and celebrity clients that I’ve been so fortunate to work with in my 12 years as an artist. But other than that I wouldn’t change a thing, I love my job!

What does success look like to you?
Success for me is waking up in the morning with a smile on my face, excited to get to work and going to bed proud of the art I created that day and the positive impact I made on myself, my clients and my friends.

What is the most memorable milestone in your career?
I’ve been so fortunate to have the ability to work with so many high-profile celebrity clients and on so many amazing magazine shoots, but for me the biggest milestone was when I started being flown around the world to do what I love to do. When people appreciate your art and your abilities enough to fly you in from out of town, that’s one of the greatest feelings in the world.

Do you have any advice for other young professionals?
I got to where I am today by treating people how I want to be treated. Respect everybody you work with, keep an unrelenting positive attitude and be damned good at what you do.  No one will ever overlook your work if you try to keep up that trifecta.

Blackberry, iPhone, Android, or Other?
iPhone. Duh!
