OK, first the good news: Everyone’s beloved south-of-the-border burger joint, Shake Shack, is coming to Toronto next week.

Now the bad: It’ll only stick around for a few hours.

Sorry.

Shake Shack will shack up at Momofuku Daisho (190 University Ave.) on January 18, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Remember when In-n-Out showed up for a day a few years ago? Expect a hectic time, ’cause lines are going to be pretty outrageous.

So, what’s on the menu? Pretty much what you’d expect from Shake Shack – ShakeBurgers (100% Angus beef burgers, with classic burger toppings and ShakeSauce) and the resto’s classic crinkle-cut fries. A dollar from every sale will benefit the Hospital for Sick Children.

To elevate the stress, there will only be a limited supply available. First come, first served, of course.
