You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream. After all the votes came in we finally crowned the king of the scoop in Montreal. If you want to know where you need to be drooling this summer, keep reading...

And the winner is…

Xavier Artisan.

With 20.3% of the total votes, this Old Montreal no-fuss take-out spot is known for their famous Muki ice cream made in-house. If you still haven’t popped by their humble corner and are craving ice cream with local and delicious ingredients , make sure you visit them at 187 Place d’Youville.

Taking home the second place spot and trailing close behind with 19.6% of your votes is Gelaterie Pierino. This Jean-Talon gelato heaven has been been running as a family business since the 1950’s so you know their stuff’s the real deal. And placing in third with 17.6% of your votes is Plateau’s trendiest and busiest ice cream spot, Kem Coba.

Below you’ll find a scoop-sized pie that breaks down all the votes. If you see something you don’t like, feel free to let us know in the comments. Or, next time tap into your inner glutton and vote…
