McDonald’s Continues Marketing Spree With Release of Take Out Bag That Turns Into a Table

McDonald's is on a real tear: first, the sinking fast food giant breathed new life into the Hamburglar. Then, it announcing three bold new mean items, an assortment of kale salads. Now, they've kicked the innovation into overdrive, releasing a take-out bag that turns into a table-tray

This really should have been invented years ago.

McDonald’s – last seen clinging to life by a thread of kale – is piling on the marketing with a new take-away bag that turns into a tray. Kind of brilliant, if we do say so ourselves.

Cleverly called the BagTray, credit for its creation goes to McDonald’s Hungary and ad agency DDB Budapest.

The bottom of the bag is a rectangular prism of sturdy cardboard, which detaches from the paper top by pulling a strip similar to how one would open a roll of plastic wrap.

And just like that, your otherwise ordinary food carrier turns into a sophisticated on-the-go table. There’s even a video!
