Level Up Your WFH Coffee & Cocktails

Aren’t we all looking for small ways to spark joy and create special experiences this holiday? Although this year may look a little different, and you may not be able to partake in some of your yearly traditions, it’s the little things that can make a huge impact this time of year.

If you’ve been looking for ways to elevate your daily cuppa, welcome your new best friend – Amarula. Made from the fruit of the sacred Marula tree that grows wild and uncultivated in the subequatorial regions of Africa, this liqueur imparts a creamy, velvety smooth taste with notes of vanilla, caramel and soft wood spice.

Upgrading your morning ritual feels exactly like what we need this December. A little extra luxury – even from our own kitchens and couches.

Here are a few different ways to imbue your day with an extra dose of holiday cheer:

A morning pick-me-up…

Make any simple cup of coffee a savoury experience by adding a splash of Amarula, or if you’re feeling like your morning needs a little extra spice, add a full shot! There’s no rules in 2020, right? Adding a dollop of whipped cream can take this morning ritual to a 10/10.

Afternoon nap be gone…

Take your afternoon coffee from jolt to jolly with a dash of cinnamon and a shot of Amarula. Working from home never tasted so good.

In the evening, get cozy by the digital fire with…

Amarula Espresso Martini

Ingredients:

1 oz Espresso

1 oz Amarula

1 oz Bourbon

0.5 oz of Simple Syrup

Glassware Suggestions:

Chilled Martini or Coupe Glass

How to make it:

Add Bourbon, espresso & simple syrup to your shaker and shake vigorously until well chilled.

Strain into a chilled martini glass and set aside. Fill a mason jar or your cocktail shaker half full with Amarula Cream Liqueur and shake until thick and frothy.

Float shaken Amarula over mixed cocktail, garnish with 3 coffee beans, and a cinnamon stick.

If you’re still craving something sweet, top off your friday night ice cream bowl with a drizzle of Amarula, or sip an Amarula on the rocks while you cozy up under the glow of your holiday lights.

Who doesn’t want to end 2020 with a little something extra? After this year—you deserve it!
