Starbucks is boosting its game again.
Earlier this year, the company announced that it would soon serve beer, wine, and tapas. Now, Starbucks announced that it will introduce kale smoothies and fresh new wraps.
According to The Huffington Post, Starbucks struck a deal with Dannon to make 16-ounce Evolution Fresh smoothies in Sweet Greens, Mango Carrot, and Strawberry. The drinks contain cold-pressed juice, yogurt, nutmeg, and ice, with the option to add extras, like kale or green yogurt.
The drink will set you back at least $6.
The company also launched two new wraps – Thai-style Peanut Chicken and Edamame Hummus. Continuing with the health kick, each wrap is only 600 calories.
Not surprisingly, the drinks will hit the lips of our friends south of the border before they do ours. They’ll first be available in Alaska, Northern California, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
But we can’t imagine they’ll stay limited to the States for too long.
