February is Heart Month, and Those Girls, an independent group of Toronto-based volunteers, are hosting their second annual Get Your Heart On – a cocktail-style fund-and-awareness raiser in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Last year, they hosted 200+ Torontonians and raised more than $15,000 for the foundation. So bring your wallet and a willingness to spread the word. This will be a classy, feel-good, fund-raising affair, with cocktails and live beats from DJ metaf4. Also look for some decadent (but oh-so-good-for-your-heart) food and drink, a silent auction, and amazing door prizes, including a custom cut heart-shaped sapphire valued at approximately $2,500.
