Cambie Malone’s Opens Authentic Mexican Joint Chihuahua’s

The Mexican crusade continues in Vancouver with the opening of a new authentic joint, Chihuahua’s. Full of fire, the new restaurant is setting up shop on Seymour near Pender, bringing the flavours of Mexico to the downtown core. Tequila and tacos, anyone?

The next time you have a sudden craving for margaritas and all things Mexican, look to Chihuahua’s for your fix.

Opening on Seymour Street just off Pender in the heart of the downtown core, it’s the newest restaurant to bring authentic Mexican flavours to Vancouver.

Chihuahua’s is the latest addition to the Cambie Malone’s Group the hospitality company that already runs things over at The Baker and The Chef Sandwich Cafe, and Malone’s Lounge and Social Taphouse.

Catering to both the day and nighttime crowd, Chihuahua’s 30-seat restaurant will be open right until 2am.

That means two things we like to hear: a takeout counter for Mexican gourmet on-the-go and tequila.

Chef David Chen has created food offerings centered on tacos and burritos that pairs with a beverage menu featuring handcrafted tequila-based cocktails, and one that will also include other traditional Mexican staples like the michelada – a combination of beer, spices, peppers, and limejuice.

We don’t know about you, but it sounds like we’re going to enjoy a bite at Chihuahua’s.
