Men’s go-to fashion retailer Harry Rosen has once again collaborated with acclaimed Canadian artist Gary Taxali to launch The Art of Flirtation pocket square collection.
Now available at select Harry Rosen locations across the country and online ($95 CAD), the five special-edition pocket squares are made from 100 per cent high-quality Italian silk and celebrate the fine art of flirtation of the modern man in Taxali’s signature playful style.
They were based on sketches done by Taxali to convey the less-serious and sultry side of flirtation. In addition to his trademark comic book-esque drawings, the squares feature flirty messages like “Wink/Why Not Me/Sexy,” “I ♥ Us/You + Me =?,” “Call Me/Never Call Me,” “Crushing Big Time/ Make It Count,” and “You Had Me at Good Bye/My Feelings Like You.”
This is the second time the artist has collaborated with Harry Rosen. Last year’s five pocket squares celebrated Canada’s heritage and included special editions to reflect the country in general, along with Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver (conveniently, all of our Notable.ca markets).
The only drawback is that, with the pocket square neatly folded into a jacket, you can’t see the detail of the art. Perhaps scarves will be next?
Any questions?
Well, if you’re on the list, you can save them for Tuesday at our #ApothicWinesxNotable Discovery Series event, where Notable.ca CEO, Julian Brass, will interview Larry Rosen, CEO of Harry Rosen, followed by a Q and A.
