The highlight of Canada’s fashion industry is now under two weeks away as Toronto’s semi-annual Fashion Week gets set to kick off at The Tents at David Pecaut Square on March 12. Previously known worldwide as LG Fashion Week, World MasterCard has overtaken title sponsorship of the event and, with it, naming rights.
This winter’s (almost spring) event is highlighted by Fashion Week regulars and notable favourites Lucian Matis, David Dixon and Rudsak, who have been putting Canada on the international runway with their designs over the years. World MasterCard Fashion Week also shines a spotlight on emerging designers from across the country who are looking to establish themselves beyond our borders and within the major global fashion markets.
