TIFF Talks Lunch Series by Notable.ca x Pure Leaf

Ah, TIFF. Our favourite four-letter word. And we swear it’s not just for the celebrities. In fact, it’s much more about having an immersive experience, which is why we’ll be hosting two exclusive lunches on September 10th and 11th on TIFF’s incredible Malaparte rooftop event space

September 10 & 11 from 12pm-2pm @ Malaparte on the rooftop of TIFF Bell Lightbox.

Ah, TIFF.
Our favourite four letter word.

And we swear it’s not just for the celebrities. In fact, it’s much more about having an immersive experience.

Which is why we’ll be hosting two exclusive lunches on September 10th and 11th on TIFF’s incredible Malaparte rooftop event space that will feature talks with some of the Festival’s most integral programmers.

September 10th:

September 11th:

That’s right, a couple of major TIFF players will be on hand to discuss what it is they do and let you in on the magic behind the scenes. Colin Geddes (Sept. 10th) and Rasha Salti (Sept. 11th) will deliver insightful and engaging talks that – quite literally – let you inside the festival experience.

Colin has more than 15 years experience working for TIFF and is currently working to “bring offbeat international films to Canada” while Rasha has been TIFF’s Programmer for African and Middle Eastern cinema since 2011. Needless to say, these two have a few stories to tell.

If you have any interest in how TIFF really runs, these talks are simply can’t-miss.

Of course, it doesn’t hurt that O&B’s famous chefs have designed a delicious lunch menu that pairs each course perfectly with a different flavour of premium Pure Leaf Iced Tea, while Malaparte’s talented team of mixologists have made sure to create a mouthwatering collection of Pure Leaf inspired cocktails.

As if that wasn’t enough, we’ll also be giving away two pairs of tickets for a red carpet world premiere of Chris Evans’ directorial debut, Before We Go, on September 12th.

Talk about the full package.

Pick your tickets above* and pretty soon you’ll have access to The Festival in a way you never thought possible.

*TIFF is a charity that brings the power of film to life. Each year, their team of programmers scour the globe, sometimes in remote or turbulent places, in order to give the next generation of filmmakers the chance to share their stories at the Toronto International Film Festival. But the costs add up.

A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to TIFF to support their programmers’ mission to find these emerging filmmakers and provide them with the opportunity to network, learn, meet prospective buyers and, most importantly, tell their stories.
