The Best Wine Bar in Toronto As Voted by You

You saw, you sniffed, you sipped. This city has a tall rack of top notch wine bars, but only one took top spot in this week’s poll… and by a long shot. See what you voted as your favourite place in Toronto to sit back and un-wine'd

And the winner is…

Salt Wine Bar.

Much like their suppliers have crushed their share of grapes, Salt Wine Bar has just crushed their share of competition.

50.9% of you voted this Ossington spot as your favorite wine bar in the city; that’s over three and a half times the votes earned by the second place competitor, Cibo Wine Bar, one of the newer swanky additions to the King West scene.

Although it may have come in second, it looks like Cibo may have been crowned the new King of the King Street Castle as 3rd place, with 9.1% of your votes, went to, Crush Wine Bar, only a few blocks east.

East-ender Skin & Bones made a solid appearance in 4th, edging out Du-Westers, Midfield Wine Bar & Tavern, and Archive, who tied for 5th with 4.5% of the votes each.

Below you’ll see a finely paired wheel of cheese breaking down all the votes. Take a look, and if you disagree with what you see, let us know in the comment section. Or, next time, don’t be a ‘de-CANT-er’; be a ‘de-CAN-er’ and vote…
