June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to celebrate, honour, and learn about the cultures, traditions, experiences, and achievements of Indigenous peoples. This month, and every other month of the year, it’s vital to acknowledge and understand the Canadian settler state’s historical and ongoing violence, harm, and traumas against Indigenous people of this land.
