Street Style for Young Professionals at Toronto Fashion Week SS14: October 23

Finding outfit inspiration for young professionals is effortless during Toronto Fashion Week. From layers and laid-back looks, to pops of colour, we were just as influenced by the people walking outside David Pecaut Square as we were by those walking down the runways. Here are our top looks from yesterday's streetstylers

With the holidays just around the corner, metallic jeans are a must in everyone’s wardrobe. So as not to overdo the look, pair with a more neutral ensemble like this conventional, black moto jacket and a black ankle boot. This dazzling craze can effortlessly bring you from day to night in a twinkling.

Though tweed has been a men’s staple for decades, it can add a slightly sophisticated look to any outfit. This quality fabric lasts season after season and will be sure to keep you warm as the days get colder. Tying a sweater around the waist gives us a hint of 90s grunge to bring this traditional look some edge.

One of the latest fall trends is quilting. From bags, to shoes, to pants and jackets, quilting adds a boost to your fall wardrobe. Match with a cropped blouse, an asymmetrical mini skirt and a statement necklace to add a subtle seductiveness to a more conservative trend.
