Notable Poll: Who Makes Toronto’s Best Poutine?

Canada’s claim to culinary fame: fries, gravy and cheese. So simple, yet so delicious. Within Toronto’s poutine purview comes much variety. But what we need to know, is whose variety you think is best

A Canadian city without poutine would be like Tokyo without sushi, Naples without pizza, or Bangkok without lady-boys. The triumvirate of fries, gravy and cheese curds is as central to our national identity as hockey or red flannel, but unlike any of our other cultural symbols, poutine makes everything better at 2:36am.

Literally everything.

While it’s almost impossible to screw up poutine, it’s also very difficult to create a rendition so memorable that it draws consistent traffic and praise for reasons beyond a fortuitous proximity to starving bar-crowds. So we want to know who you think has earned such recognition; who serves the best poutine in the city of Toronto?

Check out our list of options below and select one. Or, if you think something is missing, please select “Other” and just enter their name. We’ll make sure they get their gravy…
