Tofino’s Tacofino is making a move to the mainland with their third brick-and-mortar outpost and La Taqueria Pinche Taco Shop is opening their third location on the North Shore this week. And suddenly, you’re going to be able to get your favourite Mexican meal as often as you like.
For Vancouverites who had come to love the Tacofino food truck, the new flagship Taco Bar (15 West Cordova Street) will officially open their doors this Friday in Gastown’s Blood Alley Square.
Once Taco Bar officially opens this Friday evening for dinner, the restaurant will host up to 100 people and have a patio to look forward to in the summer months.
As for La Taqueria’s North Vancouver location, the doors will open any day now. Expect the same style and goodness that the Cambie Street and Hastings locations already offer.
For the conscious foodies, a gluten-free option will be introduced at the newest location. Made from hand, the Nixtamal dough, sourced from Culiacan, Mexico is naturally gluten-free and remains free of any genetic modifications.
