If there’s one thing our diets have been missing recently, it’s a weekly dose of Breaking Bad.
But since there’s no sign of that coming back on the menu, we’ll have to settle for the next best thing: fried chicken.
“The finest ingredients are brought together with love and care, then slow cooked to perfection. Yes, the old ways are still best at Los Pollos Hermanos. But don’t take my word for it. One taste, and you’ll know.”
According to Vince Gilligan in a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything thread, “Believe it or not…there is talk of a Pollos Hermanos becoming a real restaurant. This is not an idea that I generated personally, but it’s one that’s been presented to me through the good folks at Sony, and the idea came to them from a businessman who has an interest in doing just that. Speaking for myself, I’d love to see that happen!”
Meth or no meth, I think we all share that very same sentiment.
While there has been no talk of locations or any other details, something like this could very quickly pick up steam, especially when you consider the kind of business uptake real restaurants (like Twisters Burgers and Burritos) have seen from being featured in the show. 
But Los Pollos Hermanos is already huge; Gus had 14 locations between Albuquerque and Nevada alone, so we wouldn’t be surprised if just one new one popped up in the next 12 months.
The idea is pretty exciting, and would make for some incredible photo ops, but you know what they say about counting your pollos before they hatchos…
