Toronto-based young professional Leerom Segal knows how to keep things fresh and forward at Klick Health. Instead of sending holiday cards, the company spreads holiday cheer through video. The world’s largest independent digital health agency released its third annual holiday video earlier this month, whereby Klick Health employees pay tribute to some of the most recognizable and ridiculous internet memes out there – recreating hundreds of memes in just over three minutes. This highly anticipated holiday video (the company’s first two videos have both gone viral, each garnering well over 100,000 views in just a matter of weeks), features Klick’s recreation of some of the most famous Internet sensations, like “Gangnam Style,” Rebecca Black’s “Friday” and “Charlie bit my finger.” Klick Health challenges viewers to see how many clever memes they can find, with prizes that are surely at the top of many holiday wish lists this year. Be warned, it isn’t easy; Klick’s holiday video is sure to have even the most well-versed meme enthusiasts struggling to catch them all.
“The Klick Health holiday video is all about having fun! We bring the entire company together to get a little ridiculous so we can share our holiday spirit with all of our friends,” said Leerom Segal, President & CEO of Klick Health. “We are very proud of our culture here at Klick and the holiday video is one of our favourite ways of bringing a little piece of Klick to the rest of the world.”
Upbeat, humerous and intelligent, Klick’s holiday video appeals to a widespread audience, not only those directly related to the company or even the digital services industry for that matter. The company’s holiday videos are always created entirely in-house and feature every single Klick employee, and have been described as “brilliant and overwhelming” by CNN. They have been featured by multiple media outlets across North America, including Comedy Central, CBC News and Marketing Magazine. The project lead on this year’s video was Glenn Zujew, Vice President, Creative Services.
In addition to spreading the holiday cheer, Klick bears gifts as well with a brand new holiday contest with some awesome prizes for meme experts and top sharers alike. Contestants who are able to correctly identify the most memes will win: a trip to the destination of their choice (grand prize), a Macbook Air (second prize), or an iPad Mini (third prize). Contestants who share the video and garner the most views will win: an iPad Mini (first prize) or an iPhone 5 (second prize). Entering is simple and anyone can win after watching online. Submissions must be received by the competition deadline – January 13, 2012.
