The beer market in Calgary is competitive and, with a burgeoning beer culture, CRAFT Beer Market is staying on top of the game by introducing great new beers to the city.
For the first time in its 521-year history, Austria’s Stiegl Brewery is shipping kegs of Radler Zitrone overseas, and our local CRAFT Beer Market is the lucky recipient. PJ L’Heureux and Rob Swiderski from CRAFT met with the Stiegl team last fall in Austria and brokered a deal to have 576 kegs of Radler Zitrone produced and shipped to Canada exclusively for CRAFT.
The Official Canadian Launch of the refreshing lemon beer (perfect for summer) starts at 4pm on May 7. The beer is made with Stiegl Goldbrau, real fruit juice and all natural ingredients. Stiegl was founded in Salzburg, Austria in 1492 and has been owned by the Kiener family for the past 120 years.
With a new menu, including some great items like a Gull Valley Tomato Salad, Grilled Skuna Bay Salmon and Red Racer IPA-infused Taquitos, stop by CRAFT for a spring lunch or summer dinner. We also hear they’ll have some new rotating handles at the beginning of June around the time they celebrate their 2nd birthday.
